NFTs from the Genesis collection (also called 'SIDUS NFT Heroes') have additional benefits over Academy NFTs. For instance, the Genesis collection NFT Heroes can be upgraded to Rare and Legendary status or they can be staked to earn their owners additional rewards. The rarity level of these NFTs determine the opportunities available to their holders within the economic services. Academy NFTs, while not entitling their owners to the additional bonuses just mentioned, do provide full access to the game.

SIDUS: NFT Heroes is the Genesis collection of 6,000 unique, generative Heroes. The collection features Original, Rare, Legendary, Exclusive and Partnership Heroes. These NFT Heroes have sold out and are now only available on the secondary market.
According to lore, the Heroes all came to the independent city of SIDUS from one of 12 blockchain planetary systems (Bitcoione, Avalanya, Polygopus, Tronguan, etc.) while seeking refuge from the intergalactic war. Each Hero’s home planet has left an imprint on their appearance, character and armor.
The utility of the NFT Heroes from the Genesis collection is multi-fold, including being an NFT avatar, a ticket to the SIDUS HEROES metaverse and providing access to the NFT yield farming service.
What is an NFT?
NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, a one-of-a-kind digital asset that is not interchangeable with another similar item. This means that every single NFT Hero has its own set of metadata encrypted into the blockchain, proving its uniqueness and your ownership.NFT Heroes NFTs are partly created by artists and partly by a custom generative algorithm before being registered on the Ethereum blockchain. The NFT contract that governs ownership is a standard ERC-721, which works with any compatible service or exchange.
Where does my NFT Hero live?
SIDUS NFT HEROES Collection is built on the Ethereum blockchain. Your Hero will appear in the connected wallet you used to purchase it. SIDUS recommends using a MetaMask wallet.
How and where can I buy an NFT Hero?
The Sidus NFT Heroes collection is available in the OpenSea marketplace.
What can I do with my NFT Hero?
You are free to do anything! You can enjoy your Original NFT Hero, use it as your avatar in the digital space and take on a passive role in SIDUS society. Or you can upgrade your Hero and become a Rare or Legendary Hero. All NFTs can be staked in Galaxy Staking. The higher the rarity of the NFT Hero, the bigger the rewards its holder gets.NFTs from the Genesis collection also serve as a ticket to the SIDUS HEROES metaverse. Transform your Hero into an in-game character and fight in the Battle Arena, win tournaments, mine resources, master a profession and participate in the political life of the metaverse. Important note: Your character will differ visually from the NFT Hero from the collection.
